Privacy and discreet billing

What shows on your bank statement, what other viewers can see about you, and the settings that keep your account yours.

Updated 2026-09-07

Watching cams is a private thing and it should stay that way. Here is what the platform behind Rouge does with your data, what other people in a room can see, and the few settings worth checking on day one.

Your name is a username

You pick a username when you sign up and that's the only name anyone ever sees: performers, other viewers, moderators. Nothing forces you to use your real name or a recognisable photo. Pick something you'd be comfortable seeing on a tip list.

What shows on your statement

Token purchases are billed under a neutral company name. The site name and performer names never appear on a bank statement. The checkout page shows the exact descriptor before you confirm, so you can check it against your own bank first. Some payment methods (crypto, certain wallets) add another layer if you want it.

What a performer sees

Your username, the flag of the country your account is set to, and whether you've tipped in their room before. Not your email, not your card, not your location beyond the flag. Cam to cam is off unless you turn it on yourself, and only the performer sees it.

What other viewers see

Your username in chat and next to tips, and a badge if you're a regular tipper in that room. Nothing else. Private messages are private.

Settings worth checking

  • Email notifications. Off unless you want a message when a performer you follow goes live.
  • Two-factor login. Turn it on if your account holds tokens.
  • Login history. Available in the account settings, useful if you share a device.

On your side

Use a private browser window on a shared device. Don't reuse a password from another site. Don't share your email in chat, and don't accept requests to move the conversation somewhere else: that is how most scams start. Performers who stay inside the room are the ones you can trust.

Questions people ask

What appears on my card statement?

A neutral company name, never the name of the site or of a performer. The exact descriptor is shown on the checkout page before you pay.

Do performers see my email or location?

No. They see your username and the country flag your account shows, nothing else.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, from the account settings. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile and history.
